Professional Memberships
Professional members are acupuncturists with an active New Jersey state license. Professional Members possess full rights and privileges as voting members of the association, and can serve as board members and committee members. This membership level renews automatically unless cancelled.
Bronze Level Membership entitles you to all base-level membership benefits. Silver and Gold Level Membership entitles you to base-level and premium-level benefits.
Bronze Level – $295 per year
(can also renew quarterly at $75 every 3 months)

Silver Level – $395 per year
(can also renew quarterly at $100 every 3 months)
Silver Level – $100 per quarter
Gold Level – $495 per year
(can also renew quarterly at $125 every 3 months)

First Year Professional Memberships
Congratulations on your first year in practice! NJAS is pleased to offer a discounted membership to all newly licensed acupuncturists for their first year in practice. First Year Professional Members possess full rights and privileges as voting members of the association, and can serve as board members and committee members. This membership level expires after one year.
First Year Professional Membership entitles you to all base-level membership benefits.
First Year Rate, Quarterly Renewal
($37.50 every 3 months, ends after one year)
First Year Rate – $150 for one year
Student Memberships
Student Membership is for those actively studying acupuncture at an accredited school. This membership lasts for 2 years and can be renewed once. This membership level renews automatically after the first year, and expires after the second year. Students may join committees, but may not serve on the board, and are not permitted to vote.
Student Membership entitles you to all base-level membership benefits.

By joining our association, you also become a member of the American Society of Acupuncture (ASA). Collectively, you become an essential part of a statewide and national powerhouse that serves to elevate licensed acupuncturists and the profession as a medicine with quality continuing education, emerging research, and discounts on products and services.
We keep you connected to other providers, progress in the field, advocacy issues, and industry information within our state, other states, and national news via state level websites that connect to national content.
In addition, our website content provides information on licensure standards for the public and policy makers. WHAT IS THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ACUPUNCTURE (ASA)?
The ASA exists through state level acupuncture associations to unite licensed acupuncturists nationally, and to champion acupuncture as a medicine at state and federal level while protecting professional interests, increasing access for patients, and informing the public. Their mission is advancing the professional practice of acupuncture as a whole system of medicine through advocacy, education, and research with the vision of being partners in the American healthcare system.
CAN I PAY QUARTERLY?
Yes, this option can be selected when opting for a professional annual membership. Payments are set up to be automatic.
HOW CAN I BECOME A BOARD MEMBER OR JOIN A COMMITTEE?
