JOIN US ON BEACON HILL!
Tuesday February 20th 2024 11:30-2pm
at the Massachusetts State House by the Grand Staircase
for the ASM Acupuncture Day On the Hill

Meet us at the State House and advocate for your profession!  You will have the opportunity to learn more about the legislative process, educate legislators and their staff about the impact of acupuncture, and celebrate our medicine. We’d appreciate your energy and presence at this event to support our on-going legislative efforts. Please note that the number of people that come make a difference to the legislators and generate more movement for our bills.

Come for the whole event or just for a while.

Come and experience!

  • Speakers including Representative Smitty Pignatelli, acupuncture champion of H1120 (including acupuncture coverage in all insurance policies for pain, PTSD, substance use disorder, and nausea)
  • ASM Legislative Co-Chairs Naomi Alson M.Ac., L.Ac. and Amy Mager DACM, L.Ac., also Dry Needling Co-Chair, speaking
  • Licensed acupuncturists will be demonstrating NADA & BFA acupuncture on any interested legislators and staff
  • Patients speaking to their lived experience with acupuncture
  • An opportunity to meet other colleagues, enjoy a healthy snack, and talk to legislators and their staff and ask them to report our Acupuncture bills out of committee favorably!

Want to meet your legislator? You’ll want to set this up ahead of time – please contact our lobbyist Dan Delaney at
